For example, after graduating with a Master of Business Administration from Baker University in 1999, he was hired by AT&T and quickly rose through the ranks from Account Executive to District Business Manager.

The next criteria that our January Entrepreneur had to meet: does the individual have a big heart and consistently demonstrate a willingness to give back to his community?
Gary Rixson once again came out on top. He regularly participates in charity events in Kansas City and all over the country and his favorite way to raise money is through running or exercising.
For example, he raised over $2000 for the Ronald McDonald House charity while running the 2012 Chicago Marathon on the Ronald McDonald House race team.
On a daily basis, Mr. Rixson also raises money utilizing the Charity Miles app on his iPhone and recently ran the 2015 Kansas City half Marathon to raise money for Charity Miles's charity partner Feeding America.
Mr. Rixson is working on his 2016 calendar now and will be supporting causes such as Stand Up for Cancer, Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
